Ciclo 5-1y 5-2 fecha 13-05-2020

Good Night my students.

(anoche, la semana pasada, el año pasado) In 1980, in 1987… (en 1980, en 1987…) Ago (hace…)

Ejemplos: -I read the newspaper yesterday.
-I watched my favourite soap opera last night
-In 1969 two computers talked to each other
                     across a telephone line.
-The television was invented many years ago.

Examples:
Positive
walked (regular)
you played (regular)
he cooked (regular)
she listened (regular)
it rained (regular)
we ate (irregular)
they drank (irregular)

Negative:
En lo negativo no hay verbos irregulares. Todos los verbos usan "did + infinitivo":

NegativeNegative Short Form
did not walkdidn't walk
you did not playyou didn't play
he did not cookhe didn't cook
she did not listenshe didn't listen
it did not rainit didn't rain
we did not eatwe didn't eat
they did not drinkthey didn't drink

example:

You (talk) to the teacher yesterday.

1) I (walk) home after work yesterday.

2) The children (play) in the park last Sunday.
